Personal traffic data — real-time and on-demand — is one of the most anticipated applications to enter into the explosive mobile device market. For fleet operators, such technology optimizes productivity saving time and money. And for media, traditional means of securing traffic reports are fast becoming archaic.
TrafficCast is positioned to address these markets with the most advanced traffic information solutions for the estimated 100 million drivers on the roads in the US.
Dynamic new data sources are emerging, spawning a rapidly growing traffic information ecosystem. TrafficCast has the integration and analytical know-how — patented software and scientific models — to serve as the digital traffic-data supplier of choice. Real-time traffic information is no longer resigned to a traffic jockey reporting from a noisy helicopter.
We envision an increased demand for traffic flow data to navigation service providers, web portals, mobile devices and enterprise products. Our real-time and long-term traffic data covers 10 times the length of the Interstate Highway System. Besides analyzing data from every expressway and major arterial in the country — 3 million road segments in all — TrafficCast incorporates information from secondary and tertiary roadways in order to provide you with real-time and forecast traffic information and travel-time forecasts.
TrafficCast traffic science will put your next drive on the traffic information superhighway.
